Gellért KÁDÁR L.

Gellért is a name to watch, a rising star of European cinema, Gellért first captured the public’s attention with his leading role in Hunyadi – Rise of the Raven, the historical series created as a major Central European co-production. His international profile gained further momentum when Yves Saint Laurent selected him as the face of its MYSLF men’s fragrance, a defining step in his evolution to an increasingly recognizable international talent. Born and, until recently, living and working in Transylvania, Gellért began shaping his artistic identity on the stage of the National Theater of Marosvásárhely – Târgu Mureș, where he moved between classical pieces and contemporary drama. A few years ago, he relocated to Budapest, opening a new chapter in his career with the filming of Hunyadi. His approach to acting is defined by discipline, meticulous preparation, he combines a powerful physical presence with an instinctive sensitivity in his performances.
With Gellért, our team welcomes a true Central European artist as an Ambassador, a young, versatile talent whose work moves effortlessly across genres, artistic disciplines, and even borders. Rooted in the rich cultural heritage of a Central European ethnic minority and shaped by his theatrical background, Gellért embodies a rare connection between the region’s layered history and contemporary visual culture, one that bridges heritage and reinvention, tradition and modernity.
Lőrinc NAGYHÁZI

The Nagyházi name boasts a centuries-old legacy in the art trade; representing the third generation, Lőrinc opened a new chapter in this history by founding the Nagyházi Contemporary gallery in 2020. A bold and entrepreneurial professional with a keen eye — much like his forebears — and an openness to innovation, it is no surprise that he was selected as an expert for the immensely popular TV show Kincsvadászok (Treasure Hunters), which has garnered nearly a million viewers. His gallery successfully focuses on introducing emerging artists and broadening the audience for contemporary art. With a fresh, daring artistic portfolio and a young, rapidly expanding circle of collectors, ever since the funding of Nagyházi Contemporary, Lőrinc has been one of the most exciting exhibitors at Art Market Budapest.
As an Ambassador, he perfectly embodies several of Art Market Budapest’s core aspirations: a respect for artistic traditions alongside a commitment to quality, openness to showcasing previously unknown bodies of work and supporting the younger generation of artists, and the goal of engaging a broad audience in the enjoyment of the visual arts. Moreover, we often hear that our guests — both domestic and international — come to our fair specifically to hunt for treasures. Could there be a more fitting ambassador for Art Market Budapest than a genuine “treasure hunter”?
Bori PÉTERFY

For decades, Bori has been a defining and unmistakable figure in our cultural life. From the world of independent theater to large-scale stage productions, and from roles in dramatic productions to the concerts of Péterfy Bori & Love Band, she is constantly in motion, captivating audiences with a diverse range of artistic genres. Her work is defined by a unique voice, a sense of freedom, and artistic curiosity.
In her role as Ambassador, an outstanding personality has joined our team who brings contemporary visual art closer to those who have previously engaged with culture primarily through theater or music. Bori is a dedicated visitor and fan of Art Market Budapest and a lover of contemporary art; her presence vividly embodies our fair’s ambition to serve as a meeting point for diverse artistic disciplines and their audiences. Together with her, we believe in the community-building power of culture.
Zoltán TOMBOR

Zoltán began his journey in Budapest and returned to his hometown a few years ago; in the interim, he built a unique international career in Milan and New York as a fashion, portrait, and fine art photographer. He has worked on assignments for Vogue, The Sunday Times, Harper’s Bazaar, and TIME magazine, photographed Alicia Keys, Sophie Marceau, and Eddie Murphy, among others. During his years in New York, he collaborated with global brands including Donna Karan (DKNY), L’Oréal, Net-a-Porter, and La Perla. Photo lovers could recently gain insight into his distinctive visual style and creative sensibility through a major solo exhibition, “Lost & Found” at the Robert Capa Center for Contemporary Photography.
Zoltán is a member of the International Center of Photography and the Professional Photographers of America. He embodies a unique combination of international perspective, a rare ability to bridge the worlds of applied and fine art photography, and a high level of creative expertise. These qualities make him exceptionally well-suited to join the Art Market Budapest team in promoting contemporary art and photography, as well as keeping the traditions of Hungarian photography alive.
Nóra TROKÁN
actress and photographer
Alongside her widely recognized work in theater and film, Nóra has also built a significant portfolio as a photographer over the past few years. Her photographic work explores both human and natural environments; in her series titled Before (“Mielőtt”), she captured more than 140 fellow actors during the unique, intimate moments just before stepping onto the stage. The project resulted in both a standalone exhibition and a striking photo book. Her photography, much like her acting performances, is characterized by a distinctive sensitivity, a keen eye for intimacy and detail, and a focus on the emotions underlying the situations and subjects she captures.
As our Ambassador, Nóra bridges the worlds of performing and visual arts by projecting her unique character and perspective onto both fields in equal measure: a dual creative approach that gives rise to particularly compelling connections. Art Market Budapest believes that the interplay between different art forms enriches both the specific disciplines and the broader cultural landscape, and our Ambassador’s creative work serves as an outstanding example of this.
